The short version

Roomy runs entirely on your Mac. It doesn’t collect, upload, sell or share your files or any personal data.

What Roomy reads

Roomy reads the names and sizes of files and folders inside the folder you allow it to access, usually your home folder, to show what’s using space and decide what can be cleaned. It doesn’t open or read the contents of your files.

What Roomy stores

Roomy keeps its settings and a history of cleanups on your Mac. This information never leaves your Mac and is removed when you delete the app.

Network access

Roomy connects to Apple’s App Store only to check and restore your Roomy Pro purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. Roomy has no analytics, tracking or advertising.
